Hmmm...who are we? We are a midwest lesbian couple who have been together 9 years this fall (2011). For the purpose of blogging we are Sugar (yours truly) and Spice and the names mean just that! Ha! Kidding of course! Actually the best part is they have been our little nicknames over the years and depending on the mood...we call each other one of the above but I've typically kept the trophy of Sugar. Maybe that's because I'm older and more settled at 38 yrs old and my Spice is only 32. Roar!
We met at a bar...how cliche! Spice says I was her stalker...she was cute...what can I say! We jumped in head first and have had a blast these last 9 years and are now looking forward to completing our home with a little one. We are football fans based on our blog title "Looking for a Hail Mary" - I thought it was appropriate since we are now entering the IVF world...our Hail Mary!
I (Sugar) will be the narrator and I promise to try not to completely bore anyone who happens upon our blog. I wanted a place to keep my thoughts and to ask questions from time to time. I'm an intense, over analyzing kind of gal and reading blogs the last year has been such a tremendous help.
